Stress Management
Stress is real. To be alive is to experience stress. Stress comes in many forms, including: financial, employment-related, health-related, relational, environmental and cultural. Our world is filled with stress-inducing situations. A simple example is a person who tends to be introverted and so gets energized from time alone, who works in a job that requires them to interact with people all day.
Some stressors are self-induced, and some are beyond our control. But whatever the origin, stress has an impact on our physical and emotional health and well-being. And because each person is unique, their stressors and their impact are unique as well.
We Can Help
We will help you understand how your body responds to stress and when it’s telling you it’s had enough. None of us can eliminate stress, but we can help you learn: 1) how to identify stressors that could be lessened or eliminated, and 2) how to cope in a healthier way with our inevitable stressors. We will help you learn what to do to stay on top of managing your stress level so that it doesn’t continue to negatively impact your physical, emotional, and relational health.
